| Guide to ME Foundation Shades |
How to choose your ME foundation shade. Our makeup artists are available to help during business hours 8:30AM-5PM PST at 800-715-1006.
Step 1: Determine your undertone.
The undertone of your skin is very different from your complexion (how fair or tanned your skin is).
To determine your undertone, look in the mirror, and note the color that you mostly see. You have to ignore your cheeks and nose because they can be pink even if your undertone is not.
The key undertones are
- Neutral
- Pink
- Yellow / olive
- Golden / yellow
- Golden / pink
- Golden / red
- Deep / red
- Deep / blue
If you burn easily in the sun, you are likely to have a pink undertone. If you tan easily in the sun, you are likely to have a yellow or olive undertone.
Step 2: Choose your complexion
Step 3: Match your complexion and shade to the right ME foundation
